More Hospitals Join the Healthy Food Movement
Congratulations to Pardee Hospital and
Scotland Memorial Hospital, the most recent hospitals to gain red apple healthy food status. Both hospitals came to our Prevention Institute in Asheville where they identified areas
for improvement and immediately began working on their action plans. (You still have time to sign up for our March healthy workplace seminar - see below!)
The two
hospitals attribute their success to strong leadership from team members and
great working relationships between food service vendors, wellness teams and hospital
administration.
See our latest map of red apples, and stay tuned for more. There are 31 hospitals that now have action plans and are well on their way!

Our next call - about healthy food - is on Thursday, Mar. 26th
from 2:00 - 3:15pm. Submit your questions in advance to Nicholas Sullivan.
