Sustaining a Wellness Team
 Action for Healthy Kids in
collaboration with MEE Productions has developed a free toolkit to help get
parents involved in school wellness. To access it, click here. Building a strong
wellness team is a critical first step to making strong wellness
policies. A good gardener knows that the secret to a bountiful garden
is good soil, robust seeds, and plenty of water and sunshine. School
wellness teams need the same thoughtful approach to ensure that things
get done and the team is sustainable. When building your wellness team,
consider the potential of parents as change agents and engage them as
partners in support of healthier schools.
