Hello QNNC! Partners,

Greetings!  The NC Hospitals Fax Referral Challenge has been running for four months now and I congratulate the hospitals below for having sent in the most fax referrals to the NC Tobacco Use Quitline during September and October and since the Challenge began in July.  A special round of applause goes out to Carolinas Medical Center who had an outstanding month in October and connected 47 people with the Quitline.  North Carolina as a whole connnected 90 people with the Quitline in September and 149 people in October.

The Challenge will run for one year and encourages use of the fax referral option (fax form) for connecting employees, patients, and visitors who want to quit within 30 days to the Quitline.  In completing the fax form, please enter the name of your hospital (see list) then the name of the clinic area.  Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
