NCPP helping Carolinas HealthCare System to adopt healthy food guidelines
Last month, we launched our program to help hospitals offer healthy food to their employees and visitors. NCPP is meeting with Carolinas Medical Center, one of our Centers of Excellence, to help the entire Carolinas HealthCare System adopt our healthy food guidelines.

Pregnant smokers need more help to quit tobacco use.
A new study shows that pregnant women who smoke aren't getting enough help to quit. In January 2008, we reported that, in NC, the number of pregnant women who smoke has increased by 27%.
