New PMI Melbourne Chapter Mentoring Program

The PMI Melbourne Chapter is proud to announce the introduction of the Project Management mentoring program. The new mentoring program is leveraged from the mentoring programs from our sister PMI Chapters in Sydney and Brisbane.

Why be involved in the mentoring program?

Earn and learn! Earn valuable PDUs and learn from your colleagues how to tackle demanding situations. As a mentee you grow by being mentored by a seasoned Project Manager who has experienced the ups and downs of project management. You learn from a wealth of wisdom and knowledge how to tackle tricky situations. Feel the confidence of knowing that you have the support to move forward.

As a mentor grow yourself as a valuable communicator and teacher, imparting your knowledge and wisdom to a mentee willing to learn from your vast experience. Allow yourself to grow even further by analysing new project management challenges and together coming up with strategies to move forward. Feel the satisfaction of making a difference to the Project Management profession, yourself and an aspiring colleague.

When will it commence?

The program will run once a year with a six-month duration. Final touches and details are being confirmed and with a target start of April of May.

What do I have to do to join?

Most Project Managers will be eligible to join as a mentor and mentee by filling in and submitting the mentoring application form located via our website. Once the readiness activities are completed, we will publish further announcements via our newsletters and the website.
