"The Wonder of it All"
Recently, I was in Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico with my husband as a result of following an inner calling, the type of calling that speaks intuitively within and pulls us in a specific direction. I have learned to listen to these inner influences and trust in them. This inner pull placed me in the blue Caribbean waters face to face with a dolphin named Rachael and her baby. My dream was manifesting to look into the eye of the dolphin and embrace my family. It was powerful and loving and transforming. Surreal is the best word to describe the experience.
Our path then took us to a Mayan Temazcal Ceremony that is an ancient sweat lodge purification process that includes a swim in the pure waters of a Cenote. During that

Areceli, called in Ixchel as one of the deities working with us. Ixchel is the Mayan Moon Goddess or Medicine Goddess. She had been calling me through my dreams and meditations before the trip. During the ceremony, I performed distant Reiki transmissions to all my healing circles, family and friends.

It was deep and profound and mysterious. Again, surreal is the best description.
We all have moments in life when our inner spirit speaks to us in ways that are designed to take us in a particular direction. This is not a "must do", rather it offers us a choice. The choice is often one that offers us some kind of empowerment. With the energies of increased intuitive awakening happening with everyone, listening is a key factor now more than ever. I encourage you to pay attention to that inner voice that speaks to you and is guiding you to new choices.
Many of you are being nudged to relocate, change jobs, heal family dynamics, end or begin relationships, change and transform through diet and nutrition, and open to new perceptions. The types of shifting taking place are inside of us, each of us, in ways that are pertinent to our growth and expansion. We are evolving in our light and our capacity to be greater than we have thought ourselves to be.
This is a time of nurturing ourselves through these changes by finding and reinforcing ways to be kind to our body, mind and spirit. Healthy, high quality food and purified water along with herbs and nutritional supplements are vital for our body's ability to hold these higher vibrations. We honor the body by cleansing and feeding ourselves foods that give the cells fuel and hydration. It is about having an honorable relationship with food. Listen to your inner direction that is guiding you to let go of bad habits, addictive behaviors, unhealthy sugars and fats and allow yourself to heal. You are the winner in following this new direction.
Listen to your dreams for guidance in understanding yourself more fully. Dreams speak to us in our inner world and bring us insights that teach us about ourselves. As we open to them more fully, we have greater access to valuable information and guidance from Source.
When Source speaks to us within our heart center and calls us into service, notice all the little and big ways this can show up in daily life. For those of you who are teachers, counselors and masters of giving, remember to nurture yourself while giving so much to others. Applying the values of your teachings to everyday life is how you honor yourself and your path of service.
Being of service can be simple kindness extended to others during a normal day. It can be the planting of a seed and loving it into being. It can be capturing images of beauty through photography and sharing your moment of beauty with others. It can be supporting someone through their crisis as well as supporting those who are crossing from this world to the next. No matter how we express our service to life, it is always important to honor ourselves with everything that enhances our well being.
This is 2012 with Astrological aspects converging in unique and powerful ways throughout this year. Energies that are new to the Earth due to our changing placement in the galaxy are impacting the Earth and creating necessary transformation. We are the Dreamers of our world and it is our responsibility to dream well. Our dreams must hold a positive vision for humanity rising above the level of current suffering. Together, we can be a unified field of love and hope for the birth of a New Dawn and it begins within ourselves.

IXCHEL has many qualities and one of them is creation or creativity. She is a Moon Goddess and Great Water Goddess. The moon represents our emotional body and our ability to flow. In a year of personal and planetary change, flow is necessary.
