PREPARIDNESS

Being prepared for emergencies is a practical way of life. An emergency can mean the power is out or the water is off due to storms or severe circumstances. It reduces worry to be prepared.

Here are several suggestions to make this an easy way of life.

Have enough food on hand for a week or two. Keep it simple. Beans and rice go a long way along with PB & J, canned goods, apples, oranges, granola bars. etc.
Keep extra water on hand with several in the freezer. The bathtub and toilet tank can hold a back up water supply.
Have some cash on hand in case the banks are closed or ATM's are not working.
Back up supply of gasoline and keep the vehicle(s) at least half full. Fill the tank before a storm.
Put important documents in a grab and go bag.
Have flashlights, batteries, matches, candles and emergency radio.
Know evacuation routes. They are often printed in the front of phone books along with emergency check list.
Have pet carriers and food on hand.
Have medicines and baby supplies ready to go.
Have emergency contact numbers.
Learn where shelters are and which ones allow pets.

CALLING ALL HEALERS, VISIONARIES, LIGHTWORKERS, MEDITATORS, EARTH ANGELS, MEDICINE MEN AND WOMEN, SHAMENS, ELDERS, AND PEOPLE OF LOVE AND COMPASSION.

Please join this global activation of heart centered focus on the USA East Coast, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas to bring healing and GRACE to the air, water, land, people, plants, animals and marine life.

We each carry a significant and powerful energy that has transformational potential. Our personal contribution is linked and woven together into a collective powerhouse of effectiveness. Let us stand together, unified in a common purpose of healing. Please bring your vision of healing to the network.

While the circumstances of hurricane Irene are alarming and frightening, we must move through the fear and anxiety so we can be effective healers. We are beacons of light with hearts designed to love with compassion. Compassionate action is called for at this time.

My Focus:
I am in alignment with Grace as a prevailing force to bring calming to the energies of hurricane Irene and to protect and support all people, plants and animals in her path. May we learn from Irene and awaken more fully to new ways of honoring our Mother Earth.
