Being the Church God Has Called Us to Be - Dr. Paul Borden

Dr. Paul Borden is leader of an organization called, "Growing Healthy Churches".  At our request,  he and a team off assessors have been evaluating what we do here at Turning Point to effectively  fulfill our mission. 

This Sunday morning Dr. Borden will be challenging us as a church to look very strategically at how we are presenting Christ to our community.  His message will both encourage and challenge you.  Don't miss it!

Special Congregational Meeting - this Sunday 11 AM

For the past week, Dr. Borden and his assessment team have been meeting with our pastors, board members, and lay leaders to look at the strengths and weaknesses we face in reaching our community for Christ.  This is something that Dr. Borden has done for many years in churches all over the world.  Many of the churches that he has worked with have not only grown in numbers - they have improved their ability to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Following this Sunday morning's service, Dr Borden will present his observations about our church, as well as laying out some specific steps that he believes will help us better fulfill our mission of "Turning Hearts to God". 

Everyone is invited to stay for this special congregational meeting which will last from 11 am until noon.  Childcare will be provided.  We want to STRONGLY encourage you to stick around after service and hear what Dr. Borden has to say to our church.
