Friday Night Dinner Series Feb. 4
  

Come out to the Renaissance Center every Friday and enjoy a great dinner prepared by JJC students. Dinner is served from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. 

 

This week's menu includes a homemade linguini with a lemon tarragon cream, sautéed beef tenderloin with bordelaise sauce and crispy shallots; sautéed chicken breast medallions in a brandy and wild mushroom sauce; sautéed east coast flounder with an orange white wine butter sauce; grilled cinnamon-scented duck breast with rosemary pecan crumble and cranberry port reduction, and more.

Valentine's Day Dinner with Wine Pairings Feb. 11 
 

JJC Executive Chef Bill Siska and his team will prepare a five-course meal with wine pairings at the Renaissance Center, 214 N. Ottawa Street in downtown Joliet. The Italian-themed dinner will start off with butlered appetizers from 6 to 6:30 p.m.

Recognitions 

 

Bill Yarrow, professor of English and iCampus faculty coordinator, was invited to be a poetry editor at "this"-- a literary webzine. In 2010, he had 38 poems published in 14 online and print literary magazines. Five recent poems can be found in "pistol mice" and "blue five notebook."
