Recognitions
 Brenda Large, Corporate and Community Services personal enrichment coordinator, was recently elected to the Shorewood Chamber of Commerce board of directors. Large was one of five candidates contending for three open positions.
Kristin Mulvey, director of institutional advancement, was given the national Campus Impact Award for Private Fundraising Professional by the Council for Resource Development on Nov. 5 in Washington, D.C. Since July 1, 2009, Mulvey has raised $672,232 for Joliet Junior College.
John H. Weitendorf Jr., JJC Foundation president, was awarded the Council for Resource Development's Community College Benefactors Award - the only national recognition of philanthropists to two-year higher education institutions - on Nov. 5 in Washington, D.C.
