ANGEL Training for Community Group Sites
The Distance Education Department is now creating community group sites in ANGEL for student groups and clubs, college committees and departments, and other college organizations.
The Community Groups component of ANGEL allows the creation of individual sites that can be accessed only by those people belonging to the group. Group members can share documents, participate in online discussions, and use the internal mail system to communicate with other group members.
The group's membership can be managed by the group leader, or members can be given a pin number to allow them to join on their own.
The Distance Education Technology Center for Teaching and Learning will be offering training sessions for group leaders in early October.
