Ruth Stiles Gannett

Ruth Stiles Gannett
Ruth Stiles Gannett is now in her late eighties, lives in upstate New York, and kindly gave Y.E.S. permission to present her most famous work on stage. Ms. Gannett wrote My Father's Dragon at age 23, just two years after graduating from Vassar College. She went on to write two sequels:  Elmer and the Dragon and The Dragons of Blueland. Click here to read a short interview with Ms. Gannett, where she explains the meaning behind the items in Elmer's backpack.
