A Little Princess

Based on the book by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Stage adaptation by G. Lora Grooms
Directed by Many Beth Pape
Assistant director Lisa Cirincione

Synopsis:   A timeless story of a very different kind of princess, a regular girl whose generous spirit is undimmed by a change in circumstances. Not for girls only. The healing powers of the mind are a favorite motif of Burnett, who also wrote The Secret Garden (playing on our Mainstage this season as a full-length musical). A Little Princess has been lauded as a book satisfying both young and adult readers. The play will be set in New York in the early 1900s.
