Cool evenings, crisp mornings and the reduced humidity make this an ideal time to get out on your bike or to use it for commuting. Where We Ride: Smith and Jones Parks Tour

Cathy Kasper Cathy Kasper is a Sales Associate at our Medina store. She enjoys taking medium-to-long rides on the rural (and preferably flat) roads around Medina County and the surrounding region. This ride is one of the many variations she does on a regular basis.

The route is named for the two main roads (Smith Road and Jones Road) used in the first half of the ride, and the numerous state and county parks that you ride through and can visit for mid-ride activities. You'll also go through the town of Wellington in Lorain County, where you can get a bite to eat at several local establishments.

Click on the link or map below for more details about his ride, including Cathy's favorite spot to fuel up and more details about the activities available in the local parks:

Scott the BuilderStores CLOSED for Medina's Big Move

All Century Cycles stores will be CLOSED on Tuesday, September 25, and Wednesday, September 26, so that we ALL can help move the Medina store from 1079 North Court to 1059 North Court. It's just a few doors down, but wait 'til you see the new digs - it will be bigger and better than ever, especially since Scott the Builder has been overseeing crews all summer to make it happen. The Medina store will re-open in its new location on Thursday, September 27 -- be sure to stop in and check out Century Cycles' FIRST and FLAGSHIP store!

Fortunately, this is usually an easy problem to fix. Find out what you can do (or what we can do for you) to make your seat stay put in this article:

Best of the Blog

Here are some of our favorite posts from the Century Cycles Blog and our Facebook Page from the past month that you may have missed:

Tom with the Medina bra donation box

Tom shows off his "stuff" at Medina's donation box for Bras Across the Crooked River, an event that we're helping to support with Celtic Club Fights Breast Cancer. Drop off your new or gently-used bras (including sports bras!) at any of our three stores, and at this Saturday's Night Ride on the Towpath. They'll be displayed through October, and then given to battered women's shelters.
