Spring is here!

Scott Cowan Greetings!

The snow has melted and warm weather has finally arrived! We hope you are out enjoying it on your bikes.

It's starting to get busy, not just for those of us working in our stores, but for the whole bike community. Coming up is National Bike Month, Cleveland Bike Week, as well as all of your old favorite local rides! Please read on below for more information about all of these events.

For you car-commuters out there, we're excited to be running a series of public service announcements on the radio during the month of April. Listen for our 15-second spots on WMVX 106.5 FM during the weeks of April 14-20 and April 21-27, and on WGAR 99.5 FM April 14-20.

We've been getting our new season merchandise in on a daily basis, so whatever you need, come check us out, whether it's a fresh jersey or pair of shorts, a new bag or lights for commuting, or parts to upgrade your ride. We also have the latest models of bikes from Raleigh, Giant, Bianchi, and Electra ready to test ride!

We love chatting with all of our customers, so feel free to just stop in to say Hi!

Sincerely,

Scott Cowan, Owner
Century Cycles

Whether you are a confident cyclist or a pint-sized learner with training wheels, you can ride your way to better health. With Bike Aboard!, the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad allows cyclists to bike the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail in one direction and ride the train in the other.

The train can be flagged down at any of the eight boarding stations. Pay your $2 fare when you board, and the railroad staff will load and unload your bike for you. Soon, you will be able to buy your Bike Aboard tickets ahead of time at any of our three stores! You can also rent a bike, child trailer, or tag-along from our Peninsula store!

The train operates weekends in March, April, May, and September and Wednesday through Sunday in June, July, August, and October.
