Antone's provided 2500 Thanksgiving Dinners to those in need

Nearly 2500 Thanksgiving dinners were given to those in need in our community. Ross and Chad Scianna of Antone's donated the meals and collaborated with our United Way and our funded agencies to distribute them.

Meals were picked up at Antone's Banquet Center in Boardman on Thanksgiving morning. Some meals were also delivered to the elderly and those without transportation.

"We have been doing this for more than 10 years, but this is the largest event we have done on Thanksgiving. But partnering with United Way, we see the need is greater than ever before. This community has been good to me and my family, and this is a way to give back."

As of today, $1,446,912 or 58% of our 2009 Campaign Goal has been raised. Look for our thermometers in the community!
