OPENING LETTER

Hello everyone,
It was wonderful to see so many of you at GBCA's 19th Anniversary Party which was so generously hosted by The Palm restaurant. It was a spectacular display of food, great entertainment, photo ops, and, just an all around fantastic time.
Speaking of fantastic times, despite the snowy and cold weather we've had, in the spirit of making lemons into lemonade, we are going to take advantage of our New England weather by having our first meeting at the Blue Hills Ski Resort in Canton. Details will follow in your invitation, but you can expect not only free: skiing, equipment, food and transportation, but for those that do not want to take advantage of skiing, we will be having several other surprises and the opportunity to have the first "round table" discussions. This will be a great opportunity to make your voice heard with suggestions or concerns, as well as sharing common issues that affect us all. You may just get a new tip to make life easier. Also, since this one will be a morning meeting, you will be returned in time for a three o'clock shift.
Finally, I want to thank you all for the wonderful cards and well wishes that you sent to me during my recuperation from surgery. I have come through with flying colors and am looking forward to a great year to come, starting on February the 5th.
All the best to you all in these trying times, for a successful and enjoyable "09".
