Greetings!
The New Year is off to an exciting start at Inspired Teaching. We've had some great coverage in the press and we're about to celebrate Chocolate Inspiration! this Thursday.
Last week Aleta Margolis was a guest on the Kojo Nnamdi Show on WAMU 88.5 FM and on Super Tuesday you can tune in at 6:55 and 8:55 am to hear her commentary on the same station. She's also featured as an "Unusual Suspect" in this week's Washington Business Journal on page 43.
All the good news is quite timely as great things are also happening through Inspired Teaching's programs. Partner schools are gearing up for spring retreats and several seminars are up and running. The Inspired Teaching Institute is starting second semester practicum sessions and recruitment for the 2008-09 class is about to begin.
We hope to see you at the Embassy of Italy this Thursday from 7-9 pm. The tables will be overflowing with chocolate delicacies, the guest chefs are preparing tantalizing treats, and if that's not enough to tempt your palate - know that the company of incredible Inspired Teachers is sure to nourish your mind. |

It may be more than a decade before most of them vote, but all students will grow up to become part of our democracy.
What does it take to be part of a democracy? More importantly, are our nation's schools preparing young people to do that?
