A New Clinic in Los Gatos!
Dear patients, students and friends,
I am pleased to announce that I am moving my practice to a group Oriental Medicine practice in Los Gatos - Pacific Healing Arts. I will be partnering with Lee Holden L.Ac. and Stephen Eggleston L.Ac.
My move is inspired by the possibilities of partnership to extend the benefits of Chinese medicine to many more people. My move is also inspired by a love of Los Gatos and the Santa Cruz mountains, and ... it shortens my commute!
As I drive over highway 17 to and from my clinic, if time permits, I sometimes pull off the highway to commune with nature. One morning I walked to an old 'power place' that I know of in the Santa Cruz mountains. As I stood in Qigong a bobcat walked in front of me and sat down. He seemed to be saying - sit here!
One stormy night shortly thereafter, my rear tire blew out in heavy rain on highway 17. I got myself off the road and soon got busy dealing with a flat tire. Looking around I noticed the beautiful Los Gatos cats, one of which is pictured above.
It occured to me, intuitively, that these signs were suggesting that I should move my medical practice to Los Gatos. The next day I sat outside in Los Gatos, eating lunch. I looked around, remembering how much I enjoy the place; and so I said to the universe: "If I should move my clinic here, please send me a sign...."
Nothing really appeared to happen, so I went back to reading the newspaper. Then a man came up to me. He asked me if I was an acupuncturist, and he introduced himself. I had treated him maybe 15 years ago just for a few visits. He explained how he was very chronically ill, we talked briefly about his health, and he asked me if I could treat him. I told him my clinic was in Sunnyvale and he said that was too far, as his weakness and debility prevented him from driving. After he had walked away, I remembered about the sign thing!
So now I am in my new clinic in Los Gatos. I invite you to come to the clinic for Qigong instruction and classes, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional remedies, juicefasting and detoxification.

Adam Atman's acupuncture sessions will continue to focus on the simultaneous clearing of physical illness and pain, with the elucidation of meaning and purpose in life
Herbal Medicine
Recently in my clinical practice I have been seeing great results with Chinese herbs, and I would say that my skill with Chinese herbalism has increased in the last year. I will continue offering customized Chinese herbal formulas at Pacific Healing Arts.
Qigong Instruction
I continue to offer regular Qigong classes, including a new class at the Chi Center in Santa Cruz. In collaboration with Lee Holden and Larry Goldstein of Cypress Health Institute I will soon be teaching a 250 Hour Medical Qigong training Course. I will send out information about this course in the next few weeks.
Detoxification and the Group Juice Fast
Its that time of year again, when the body and soul yearn for cleansing and detoxification.

Santa Cruz Practice
In addition to seeing patients in Los Gatos I also see patients and teach Qigong classes in Santa Cruz
