Designer Carrie Parry
launched her eponymous collection this fall. We fell for it hard: the
elegant lines, the beautiful fabrics, the interesting detailing. Come see
for yourself at our special showing this week.
Ms. Parry's path to her own line is intriguing: she trained under Zandra Rhodes, Marc Jacobs, Norma Kamali, Jonathan Saunders and Elaine Gold; she designed costumes for Oscar-winning film Memoirs of a Geisha; and she worked as a costumer with the English vintage traveling circus, Gifford’s.
A graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins in London, Ms. Parry was honored with the Ethical Fashion Forum’s 2011 Innovation Award. Her collection is produced in New York City.
