frolic in rose park It wouldn't be spring without the 5th Annual Rose Park Spring Celebration, hosted by Friends of Rose Park and Proper Topper. Taking place in beautiful Rose Park from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, festivities will include: bonnet trimming for girls and boys, pony rides & baby farm animals, face painting, moon bouncing, and live rock & roll from DC favorite Josh Read. You'll build up quite an appetite, but never fear: delicious treats will be generously provided by Patisserie Poupon. The fun is free to all. Donations to Friends of Rose Park are encouraged and gratefully accepted. |

have a ball on the mall Take a step into a fairy tale at the L'Enfant Society's first-ever Ball on the Mall, an enchanting event that will raise money to revitalize the National Mall and give everyone a chance to twirl and sparkle under the stars on our nation's front lawn. This black-tie event will honor Pierre L’Enfant, namesake to the society and designer of the National Mall, and will benefit the Trust for the National Mall, the official partner of the National Park Service to restore and improve the National Mall. Tickets are available to the public through www.lenfantsociety.org. |
