due to the unanticipated ? could anyone believe it? ?freezing weather, the previously-announced april 7^th spring celebration was postponed (our sincere apologies to any of you who turned out in the snow!).

good news: it will be more fun than ever now, with some great live music thrown in to make the celebratin? complete! the fun and festivities are free to all and include:
 

·         spring bonnet trimming for boys & girls.

·         baby farm animals to pet and admire

·         coffee and delicious treats from marvelous market

·         spring egg hunting - hey, it's a year-round sport!

·         live music: good ol' dance-friendly rock n' roll!

friends of rose park (FRP) is a volunteer organization dedicated to rose park in georgetown. FRP?s mission is to work with the neighborhood, the dc parks & recreation department and the national park service to make rose park a valued community resource. using private donations, FRP maintains and improves the grounds, hosts events in the park, and undertakes major capital projects.

proper topper is dedicated to giving back to the community, having particularly close bonds with  rose park,  martha?s table, refugees international, and the woodrow wilson historic trust.
