Dear Pinemere Families,
|
It has been a very busy month for us. Our professional staff has been traveling the east coast making stops in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut to recruit new campers for Pinemere 2010! Help us spread the word! If you know of anyone in your area who is interested in coming to Pinemere please have them contact us. We would be happy to come out to speak with them, share the Pinemere DVD, and answer any questions about Pinemere.
We also spent the last month interviewing all of the JC (Junior Counselor) applicants. We are so happy that so many of our former campers are invested in Pinemere and interested in coming back to be on staff.
We are proud to introduce "Trivia Tuesday"! Each Tuesday afternoon we will be posting a Pinemere trivia question on the wall of our Facebook page. Prizes will be involved, so don't miss out! To get in on the action, make sure you are a FAN of the Pinemere Camp page. You can click here to be directed to our fan page.

CIT-TWO Program

Exciting news for all eligible
CIT-TWOs and Families
We want YOU to be part of the
Pinemere family this summer!
For those of you who are unable to participate in a full 7 ½
week CIT-TWO program, we are happy to announce that we have created some
wonderful options for you for this summer. Please take a look at the following
programs and contact Toby immediately for further information.
Option 1 - Traditional CIT-TWO ProgramWednesday, June 23rd - Sunday, August 15th- Approximately 4 weeks in Israel & 3 weeks at Pinemere including college visits
Option 2 - Israel PlusThursday, July 1st - Sunday, August 8th- Approximately 4 weeks in Israel & 1 week at Pinemere including Shabbat at camp
Option 3 - Discover IsraelMonday, July 5th - Tuesday, August 3rd** Final dates to be determined as flights are confirmed- Approximately 4 weeks in Israel
- Plus.....You can invite your non-Pinemere friends
(entering 11th or 12th grade) to experience Option 3
with us!!!

JCC Maccabi Birthright-Israel

 JCC Maccabi Israel will once again
be offering 3 Taglit-Birthright Israel trips! May 17-28, 2010*
June 20-30, 2010

21-July 2, 2010
*This trip is a specialized experience geared to camp staff!!!The
Taglit-Birthright Israel gift is open to all Jewish young adults, ages 18
to 26, who have not traveled to Israel before on a peer educational trip or
study program nor have lived in Israel past the age of 12 years. For full eligibility

A double N...O..U...N...C...E...M...E...N...T...S......A Little Louder NowDr. Michele Misher-Harris, camp doctor & camp parent,
just returned from a relief mission in Haiti. Michele spent
five days in Haiti with a team from Project Medishare.
Michele said, "The trip was life changing in ways that I can't necessarily put into
words, but will always be with me. I hope to
be able to return with another team in the coming weeks."
What a mitzvah Michele; thank you for your hard work and dedication!
