Wednesday Night - learning, living, and loving the Gospel...together
Join us for an informal gathering that has as its purpose the total transformation of our thinking and our living for the glory of God. We want together as a church to learn the Gospel, to love the Gospel, and to live the Gospel.
Wednesday Night Schedule:
- 5:45-6:15 PM - Dinner (tacos tonight) is served. Suggested donation for dinner is $5/person, $15 max per family.
- 6:20-6:35 PM - Prayer and praise
- 6:35-7:30 PM - Classes for adults, students, and K-5. Childcare for infants - preschool.
Want to be a part of making Wednesdays happen? We're using VolunteerSpot, an online volunteer manager, to schedule volunteers each week to help with everything from setting up tables, to watching the kids, to figuring out what to do with the leftovers. When you click here, you will be asked to enter your email address. The system will then show you the serving opportunities on Wednesday night. It's a pretty neat system - check it out! You may sign up for one week or multiple weeks.

Ascent - Singing, Scripture, Prayer, Meditation
Next Wednesday, March 28, the entire church is invited to gather together for a participatory evening of worship through singing, reading of Scripture, prayer, and meditation. The evening is inspired by the Psalms of Ascent, songs sung by the Israelites in Jesus' day as they turned their eyes and hearts to the Lord and "went up" to Jerusalem for the Feast of Passover. Come join together as we "lift our eyes to the hills" and prepare our hearts to celebrate Jesus' death and resurrection throughout Holy Week.
Ascent begins at 6:20pm. We'll serve pizza from 5:45-6:15pm. Suggested donation for pizza is $5/person, max $15/family. |

Maundy Thursday Celebration, April 5, 6:00pm
Seder is the traditional Passover Week Dinner celebrated by the Hebrews since the Exodus. It is the Hebrew Thanksgiving, giving thanks to God for deliverance and redemption. Seder, as the setting for Jesus' Last Supper, was the event Jesus chose to announce The New Covenant. And it was at this Seder that Jesus asked all of us to do this in remembrance of Him.
The Messianic Seder that we celebrate together on Maundy Thursday will give us a small taste of the Hebrew Passover. And by small taste, we literally mean a small taste: hence the dinner. It will be a meaningful and enjoyable experience for the whole family. Childcare will be provided for age 3 and under.
Let us know you're coming and how you can help by signing up in the gathering area.

The purpose of this service of worship is to reflect deeply on the sufferings and death of Christ. Good Friday is called 'good' because of what Jesus' death means for our redemption. At this service, we will enter humbly, worship deeply, and leave quietly with our hearts centered on the suffering of Christ for us and for our salvation.
