Not the Shipley Supper - it's a Sutton Supper!
Friday, June 3 at 6 PM
You are invited to a potluck supper at the Sutton's home on Friday, June 3 at 6 PM. These casual suppers are a great way for the River family to get to know each other a little better. Whether you have been a River for years or days, you're invited to attend.

VBS Volunteer Training
Contact Mary Wusterbarth (wusterbunch@bellsouth.net) if you'd like to help with VBS. Our current openings for adults are one preschool teacher and one toddler teacher. Openings for adults or teens are one nursery helper and two tribal (K-5) helpers. (Note: Nursery, toddler, and preschool classes are only open to children of volunteers.)
Training dates for VBS volunteers are: Sunday, June 5 at 6:30 PM (after youth group), Wednesday, June 8 at 9 AM, Monday, June 13 at 7 PM. Attendance at one of these meetings is mandatory for every volunteer.

Looking for something to do on Thursdays at 9 AM? This Thursday, June 2, we're going blueberry picking and to the indoor BREC Park. Meet at the Blueberry Farm (24393 Greenwell Springs Road, Greenwell Springs, LA 70739. Phone: 225-262-6239) at 9 AM. $2 per pound picked. Bring a bucket.
