"A Vote of No Confidence"
Philippians 2:25-3:3

Rev. Gerrit Dawson of First Presbyterian Church in Baton Rouge delivered a wonderful message at Don's installation service this past Sunday. It was inspiring and challenging and something every Christ follower should hear.

New Beds for the Children at the Adi Hope Home

From the Hopegivers website:
Last month, by God's grace, the children at Adi were provided with bunk beds. This was a true joy to the kids, as they had never slept on "real" beds before! It opened up a lot of space at the Hope Home, which is a great blessing. In addition, since the beds are lifted it allows plenty of storage for each child's possessions, much of which is stored in the Hope Chests they received last Christmas from the children at River Community Church, a huge part of the Adi family. Only appropriate is that the funds raised for these bunk beds came from the children of First Redeemer Church's 2010 VBS! Praise God for all that children do for the Kingdom and for reaching out to children, just like them, that are in need!
