Parenting and the Gospel
Wednesdays, September 15 - October 6
7:00 - 8:30 PM
As a follow-up to John Rosemond's visit, we're going to meet for four Wednesday evenings to discuss the relationship between the Gospel and Parenting. Broadly speaking, this will be a class that explores how the Gospel message itself connects with everyday living, but specifically we will be exploring how the Gospel can shape and drive our parenting so that we might be effective in rearing our children for God's glory. No experts allowed!

River Community Church Creativity Group - New Time and Dates
All members and friends interested in doing creative arts will enjoy this group. So far, we have painting, drawing and knitting. Bring any favorite creative activity -- beading, carving, sculpture, needlework, original crafts, etc. The group finds it very encouraging to work together, seeing different arts, learning through each other......using God's gifts to His glory. Meetings are 12:30 - 2:30pm in the gathering area of the church, on the following Wednesdays: September 15, 29; October 13, 27; November 10. Drop in whenever you can. Shipley Supper Schedule
First Fridays at 6 PM
The Shipley Suppers will be a regular event for awhile on the first Friday of each month. These potluck suppers are a great way for the River family to get to know each other a little better. Whether you have been a River for years or days, you're invited to attend.
