Saturday, September 11, 1:30 - 5:00 PM

Best selling author John Rosemond will be at River Saturday, Sept 11 from 1:30 - 5:00 PM presenting a seminar titled "Parenting with Love and Leadership from Tots to Teens." Tickets are $10 each, $15 for couples.

We're considering moving the seminar to a larger venue to better serve our community. Help us decide by registering now if you think you are  likely to attend -  you can always cancel later. Childcare will be available for a small fee.

Shipley Supper Schedule
First Fridays at 6 PM

The Shipley Suppers will be a regular event for awhile on the first Friday of each month. These potluck suppers are a great way for the River family to get to know each other a little better. Whether you have been a River for years or days, you're invited to attend.

BloodMobile at River August 8

We all know it's important to give blood, but it's hard to remember to do it. In fact only one out of 20 people regularly give blood. Well, you have an opportunity to be that one in twenty in just a few weeks because the United Blood Service BloodMobile is coming to us. They will be at River from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 8. Appointments are scheduled online. Thank you!
River at Jambalaya Park

Want to get your dose of Vitamin D and enjoy getting together with some of your River family at the same time? Chris Shipley (wacoshipley@hotmail.com) and others are meeting at Jambalaya Park in Gonzales each Thursday at 10:30 AM. They would love to have you join them!
Intro to Membership Class
July 31, 9 AM - Noon and August 1, 12:30 - 2:00 PM

The class has several simple purposes, all of which are designed to help you feel more at home here at River. You'll get to know some other newer people and you'll get to spend some time with church leaders.  We'll cover the beliefs and structure of the church and we'll look at opportunities to get involved.  The course is free and there is zero obligation to become a member at the end.  No arm twisting here.  Childcare will be provided.

Volunteers Needed to Collect School Tools
