Bransford Update from Thailand
"Five years ago, God showed us His heart for those who have given up
everything to "Go ye" and bring the Good News to the final frontiers. They are here without family, without their church, without support on the ground near them. Many go through trials and just need a listening ear. Some go through extremely traumatic events and need intense counseling in order to cope with what has happened to them. Missionaries are living at three times the stress of the average person. God has used us, together with our supporters, to provide a place of refuge for those coming to Chiang Mai to receive the care they need."

RCC Painting Group
Feed your creativity! Join the painting group at River this month! They meet every other Thursday morning from 9:30-11:30. On March 11, Jeanie Liehe will show you how to paint a portrait sketch. On March 25, Sue Miley will demonstrate how to mix a colorful palette that will last for weeks. For info, call Jeanie at 673-5484 or einaej22@yahoo.com.

Habitat for Humanity Project, February 26 - March 13
The Build
Thirty to forty people are needed each day in order to build the house in just two weeks. Contact Debbie Schultz ( dlbschultz@cox.net) for info on volunteering for the build or sign up online.
Hospitality
River is in charge of hospitality on March 5th and 12th. We will provide lunch and two snacks for the 30-40 builders. Contact Laura Ostermiller( laura_stephen@yahoo.com or 620-7668) to help with this effort. Thanks! |

Alpha Couse Starts Sunday!
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. Each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile...questions like-Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going? Find out more about the Alpha course here.
Our next Alpha course starts this Sunday, March 7, from 5:00 - 7:30 PM at home of Don and Debbie Ipson. Dinner will be provided. Please send Don Ipson an email so he will know to expect you. |

Anyone is welcome to join us for the Easter Choir! All practices are at the church.
Practice Schedule:
March 4th (Today!): 5:30-6:45
March 21st (Sunday): 12:15 (we'll meet for a short practice after the 2nd service, and maybe combine it with lunch for anyone who's interested..)
March 25th (Thursday): 5:30-6:45
April 1st (Thursday): Time TBA (before Sedar dinner) |

Spring Clean-up Day Saturday, March 20, 8 AM
Spring is almost here!! We need your help to keep our church looking great. We've identified some projects to help prepare for Easter. Please bring your shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, string trimmers, chain saws, and work gloves if you'd like to help. Contact Brian Meck if you have any questions. brian529m@yahoo.com. If there's bad weather, Clean-up Day will be the following Saturday, March 27.
