During our series on Ruth, as we saw how God provided for two marginalized widows through very ordinary means, we learned a new song called the "Desert Song."  This song touches on the themes of Ruth, of emptiness and blessing and the recognition that God works both through dry times and times of abundance.  No matter what the circumstance, He is there, and He will give us what we need (even if it's not exactly what we think we need at the time!).
