Dear Friends,
As most of you know, David's become unable to take stage due to dementia.  And yet, the legacy of his 27 years on the road continues through his recorded performances, his book, our mentoring program and our summer camp.  As anyone who knows David would expect, as difficult as it has been, he's adjusted to life in the wings amazingly well. It reminds me of the storyline in the Bing Crosby movie, White Christmas where the main characters sing the song, "What do you do with a general, when he stops being a general?" 

In a sense, that's where we are.  After spending one-half of his life sharing the Gospel through his dramatic and musical gifting, David is now unable to do so. He is aware of his limitations but walks out each day with courage and continues to set an example of steadfastness in the most pleasant manner.  I have never been more proud of him. 

 

"He said unto me, My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore will I rather glory in my weakness, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in weakness: for when I am weak, then am I strong." 2 Corinthians 12:9,10.

A Legacy Letter

Backstage - Over the years, much of David's ministry has occurred backstage or offstage completely, whether he would visit with a fellow cast mate or audience member.  Now we have some more exciting backstage news:

 

We just received a letter from Focus on the Family requesting permission to re-air David's "JONAH!" performance.  Tune in on May 12th to hear this wonderful performance, written by our dear friend Steve Thomas.

Many of you have partnered with us over the years and we can't thank you enough for helping us to share the Love of Jesus one performance at a time. Thank you for being part of this exciting journey of serving Him!
