Greetings!

Today and tomorrow (February 12 and 13) will be our last days of "the season."  Stop in to get a bag of apple cider donuts.  They'll be great for Valentine's Day!  We highly recommend putting the donuts in a plastic container with a tight lid or a zip lock bag after you get them home.  Doing this will allow you to keep them much longer.

We will re-open in May.

We have apples, potatoes, cider, our own honey, our own canned peaches, and freshly made cider donuts.  Plus this is the last chance to purchase a 3-gallon container of Hershey's ice cream for only $20.
New Ideas for 2010
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dan and I just got home from a national farm conference which was held in Lancaster.  We were snowed in just like everyone else, but luckily our hotel and the convention center were in the same building.  Unfortunately the key note speaker flew out of Colorado and got stuck in Detroit for 3 days since HIA shut down (as did just about every airport!).  It's one thing to be stuck at home or at a hotel, but how miserable to be stuck in between!  Even without the key note speaker, the conference was excellent and Dan and I are busy planning our new additions for 2010.  We can't tell you yet...there's so many ideas we have to figure out what we want to do first, but we always love your input.  If you have ideas on things you would like to see at the farm please let us know!
Recipe of the Week
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This week's recipe is Apple-Maple Glazed Chicken Breasts.  Grab some Pennsylvania cider and Pennsylvania pure maple syrup at the farm today and you'll be ready for this delicious recipe.  We'll start back up with delicious recipes again in May!

Have a great week.
