Paulus Orchards
Greetings!

Only two weekends left for u-pick apples, u-pick pumpkins, and the corn maze.  Picking apples with your family is such a fun time - something that all ages enjoy!  This weekend you can pick Fuji, Red Delicious, and Stayman apples.  While you're here, stop by the u-pick pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin.  The patch is huge and there's still lots of great pumpkins waiting to be chosen!  We have wagons for you to pull through the field to make your picking easier.

Enjoy the free wagon rides and possibly give the corn maze a try.  Admission to the small maze is included with your large maze purchase ($7 for ages 12+ and $5 for ages 3-11), or just give the small maze a try for only $3.

Just a reminder that our u-pick hours are Saturday from 9-5 and Sunday from 11-5.  The corn maze hours are Friday evening from 6:30-8:30 (fingers crossed for the rain to go away!!), Saturday from 9-5, and Sunday from 11-5.  If you come Friday evening, you need to bring along a flashlight.

Recipe of the Week
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This week's recipe is for Yummy Peaches in the Crock Pot.
You can use canned peaches with this recipe and if you didn't can any yourself you're not out of luck!  Stop by and get some canned peaches at the orchard.  They are our own peaches, canned this year.  There are three different kinds: no sugar added, light syrup, and heavy syrup.  Personally I love the heavy syrup - but if you want less sugar you can give one of the other two kinds a try.
Last week I told you how to cut and paste a recipe if you want to print just one.  Here is a second way to print just one that was shared with me by one of our wonderful customers:
Highlight the individual recipe.
Click on File.
Click Print.
Choose "Selection."
Click Print again and you will only print what is highlighted.
Very simple - wonderful tip - thanks Vilma!
Have a Great Week!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
