New PPT VISION Senior Management Team
Robert Heller, Sean O'Driscoll and Tom Mueller
PPT VISION is pleased to introduce a new senior
management team effective November 1, 2008.
Robert Heller, the new President & Chief
Executive Officer, has been serving on PPT
VISION's board of directors since 2000. Bob has had
a significant amount of experience in operations
management, spending a better part of his 35-year
career in the manufacturing sector. Bob also served
as CEO for a company named Advanced Circuits for 5
years, a public company that manufactured printed
circuit boards and other interconnect solutions. Bob
is a venture capitalist who has an ownership stake in
many types of businesses and is generally involved
with those businesses on a consulting basis.
Sean O'Driscoll, the new Executive Vice
President of Sales, Marketing, and Product
Development, was Vice President of Sales &
Marketing with Infrared Solutions Inc (ISI), a Minnesota
based company. Following the acquisition of ISI by
Fluke (Danaher Corporation), Sean became Vice
President of Sales, USA and Europe, for Fluke
Thermography and subsequently Vice President of US
Sales for Fluke Biomedical. Previously Sean held a
variety of senior management positions with Plasmon
Plc in the USA from 1995 to 2002. Sean, originally
from Ireland, moved to the USA in 1995. Tom
Mueller, the new Chief Financial
Officer, has spent his entire career in finance.
Tom was Vice President of Finance at Help/Sustems,
Inc., a software development company from 1995 until
the company was sold in 2005. Tom also held a
position as
the Executive Vice President at Advanced Circuits
for many years, and has been an independent
investor since 2005.
Joe
Christenson will be acting in a consulting capacity
for a transitional period of time prior to leaving PPT
VISION. As all of our valued partners know very well,
Joe has been with our company for more than 2
decades, and the amount of knowledge he has
regarding our business operation and the machine
vision industry is extremely important and invaluable
to PPT VISION.

Sentinel, a comprehensive
mold protection and inspection solution that detects
molding process problems before expensive crashes
occur. Sentinel is powered by IMPACT A20
intelligent cameras. This turn-key solution
supports up to four cameras and comes with a
pre-configured, step by step, user friendly software
application. This solution is designed to protect your
tooling through every step of the molding process
from flow detection, part ejection, and pin retraction to
insert position verification. The Sentinel Mold
Protection Solution
consists of one or more IMPACT cameras, lighting,
lenses, I/O modules, camera and lighting mounts,
and cabling. The optional portable workstation
includes an
