In addition to adding support for A20 hardware, this software upgrade also includes a new Image Math tool that performs mathematical operations on image pixels. Other enhancements include improved speed performance on the Blob tool, and additional algorithm libraries in the OCR tool for improved flexibility and performance. An updated IMPACT Price List (May 2008) is now available for download. This new price list includes the addition of the IMPACT A20, and the removal of the IMPACT T26, PPT 8200 micro camera, IMPACT Datamatrix Tool, and several discontinued lighting products. An updated Vision Accessories Price List (previously referred to as the Preferred Supplier Price List ) is also available for download. This updated price list includes product additions like the ISOLIGHT line by Metaphase, the TECHSPEC® Gold Series line by Edmund Optics, and several lighting power supplies by CCS and Gardasoft. The Legacy and Spare Parts Price List has also been updated to include all the recently discontinued products.  2008 PPT VISION European Partner Conference
 April 15 -17, 2008, Stuttgart, Germany

Partners through out Europe gathered at the 2008 PPT VISION European Partner Conference last month to learn about the latest IMPACT product development updates and sales and marketing strategies. PPT VISION dedicated 3 full days during this event to advanced technical training on IMPACT hardware and software, as well as training on lighting and optics. A formal dinner was held on the evening of April 16, where two Outstanding European Distributor awards were presented to Simac Masic & TSS bv and Visioncontrol.it. This event was held at the Hotel Alber in Leinfelden-Echterdingen. Approximately 25 attendees, representing 12 partners from 10 countries, were present.
