PPT VISION is pleased to announce the release of the new IMPACT T3X Series Intelligent Cameras. This latest upgrade to our industry best general purpose intelligent camera product line provides our manufacturing customers worldwide with unprecedented image processing power and programming flexibility. The IMPACT T3X Series includes T30 (640 x 480 pixel resolution, grey scale), T31 (640 x 480 pixel resolution, remote head), T32 (640 x 480 pixel resolution, grey scale, 1/2 CCD format), T33 (640 x 480 pixel resolution, color), T34 (1024 x 768 pixel resolution, color), T35 (1024 x 768 pixel resolution, grey scale), T37 (1600 x 1200 pixel resolution, grey scale), and T38 (1600 x 1200 pixel resolution, color). In addition, a new pricing structure for the IMPACT T Series will take effect on June 23, resulting in an overall reduction of 5 - 25% from current IMPACT T2X Series list prices. In combination with IMPACT VPM's full image-processing tool set, and IMPACT CPM's easy-to-build custom Human Machine Interface, the IMPACT T3X Series provides manufacturing customers with configuration options and values that are unmatched in the industry. In addition to adding support for T3X hardware, this new release of software includes an abundance of enhancements and new functions that revolutionize machine vision software! New features include the ability to drag and drop VPM tools, snap-to-grid alignment on the control panel canvas, and easy data linking between VPM tools and CPM controls. These improvements make IMPACT Software one of the most user-friendly and versatile systems on the market. CPM's ease-of-use has been greatly improved with the redesigned interface available in IMPACT Software 8.0. You can now create a new CPM control and link it to a VPM tool's properties with a single drag-and-drop motion. You can also perform complex linking to existing controls from a right-click menu. In most cases, you can create a control panel application in less than half the time and with much less work compared to using a previous versions software. Other new enhancements include the support of the Modbus communications protocol, an enhanced OCR tool with speed improvements up to 50% faster, the addition of step-and-repeat capabilities to the setup panels of all Line Gauge tools, a new Tolerance control and much more. Sentinel is powered by IMPACT A20 intelligent cameras. This turn-key solution supports up to four cameras and comes with a pre- configured, step by step, user friendly software application.
