Junior Achievement of Southwest New England will be accepting applications for the 2011 Karl Flemke Memorial Scholarship from now until April 15, 2011.

One or more of your current or former students may be eligible to apply if they are high school seniors who will be graduating this year and will be attending an accredited college or university in the fall of 2011.

This scholarship is a one-time $1,000.00 award which will be paid directly to the college or university attended by the selected student.

In addition to a student's participation in Junior Achievement while in high school, there are other requirements related to academic performance and participation in varsity sports.

All applications must be received by April 15, 2011.
