Greetings!
|
The Company just finished a whirlwind of March performances beginning with ARB's 27th Annual Gala and Performance,Olé! on March 10 at the Patriots Theater at the War Memorial. Thanks to all our supporters, we were able to raise critical funds for sustaining all our programs with this fun event.
The following weekend, ARB performed Spring into Love at Raritan Valley Community College which featured 2 world premieres and 2 company premieres. The busy month continued the following weekend with ARB's participation in Jersey Moves! at NJPAC, where Karen Leslie Moscato and David DuBois performed the romantic pas de deux from Douglas Martin's Romeo and Juliet. And the month roared to a close with 3 full company performances as special guests at Rider University's annual Rider Dances concert.

On April 2, ARB's DANCE POWER program culminated with the 27th Annual Waiting in the Wings Final Performance: Around the World! Friends and family came in and packed the huge auditorium at New Brunswick High School to watch this year's DANCE POWER students perform the choreography they worked on in their classes. This year, the students performed choreography inspired by cultures from around the world - from Irish step dancing, to Russian folk dance to movements from the African diaspora.
