Dear CTKers,
Arrows Out generic logo
This past week I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with a woman in our worship center who had requested more information about a relationship with Jesus Christ.  In just a few minutes I was able to explain to her the good news of the Gospel, and how she could begin that relationship with a simple prayer.  When I asked if she wanted to pray that prayer, she didn't hesitate:  "Yes!" she said.  And so, another celebration in heaven ensued.

I believe stories like this are happening week by week in the CTK network, partly because we have made reaching out to unchurched people one of our core values as a church.  At the Arrows Out Ministry Conference last month, this value was driven home for all those in attendance.  I hope you'll check out the article below, and take advantage of the downloadable audio and written materials available at ArrowsOut.com.

Sincerely,
Director, CTK Network Resources

"So good to hear the whole story, and remember what we are about!"

These are a few of the comments received following the 2010 Arrows Out Ministry Conference, which was held on Saturday, February 27, with over 250 people from across the CTK Network at CTK Bellingham.

Highlights of the day included hearing Steve Mason, Founding Pastor of CTK, talk about his journey through brokenness to a place of hope for the future, great worship led by Elijah Tadema and his team of musicians, and over 25 workshops giving attenders new ideas in the areas of Christian leadership, outreach, worship, small groups, children's ministry, and youth ministry.

Whether or not you were able to attend the conference, you can take in the main sessions and any of the workshops which interest you at our Arrows Out Downloads page.  Here you can listen to messages and workshops, subscribe to podcasts of conference audio, and download written materials from the conference.

On Tuesday March 16, 18 motivated folks are departing for Panama on an annual mission trip there.  The group will be busy while they are there.  Their agenda includes the following tasks: installing water systems, providing medical/dental service; working with two local pastors in how CTK can best support their ministries, planning for putting in a new landing dock and a cement floor in the existng building where they come to worship.  Please pray for safe travel and that God will use these days of work to bless the people in these communities for a long time to come.  The group will return home on March 25.

What CTK Pakistan needs for Easter - bikes!

bike
CTK Pakistan national pastor Shahbaz John has established a powerful network of pastors who are reaching into remote places where the gospel of Christ could never be reached by a westerner.  In recent correspondence with Shahbaz, we have learned of a need which is rather simple to meet, but could dramatically increase the effectiveness of these pastors' work.  What is it?  Bikes!

Most often these faithful pastors are forced to walk between their home and any ministry appointments, often miles.  A gift of a bicycle can make a huge difference in using their time more effectively for the Kingdom.  There are 5 pastors who Shahbaz would like to equip with a bike, and each bike costs $125, for a total need of $650.

If you, your small group, or your worship center would like to make a donation for this need - we would like to collect all funds before March 28 to send to Shahbaz.  For instructions on where to send donations or to make an online donation, go to www.ctkonline.com/giving.  (If giving online, select the "Worldwide" fund, and the "Pakistan" subfund.)
