Dear CTKers,
Arrows Out generic logo
Once a year the entire CTK network gathers for inspiration, equipping, worship, and fellowship at the "Arrows Out Ministry Conference". This one-day event gives all CTK attenders, and especially leaders, a chance to see a bit of the larger picture of CTK beyond each one's particular worship center.  Whether you're in Nampa, Idaho or Sedro-Woolley, WA or even further away, you're invited.  More details are included in the lead article below.  I hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
Director, CTK Network Resources

A new home for CTK Burlington
Construction at new CTK BurlingtonRenovation of a new building for CTK Burlington is underway!  Mid-January marked the  beginning of a  long awaited plan to relocate the Burlington Worship Center to 988 Fountain Street in Burlington.

The folks at Burlington CTK have been patiently waiting and praying for God's timing and direction regarding the need for a larger facility.

Things developed quite quickly with what is being termed "Plan B" (plan A was an unsuccessful attempt to buy and renovate the building space next door to their current location).  The congregation has really supported this move.  A congregation-wide fundraiser that started in November has raised over $73,000.  Over 130 people also signed up to volunteer their time, materials and skills.

Everything seems to be right on track if not ahead of schedule. Lord willing, services will be held at the new facility at the beginning of March.  Not only is this project creating a larger facility for ministry, but  it has also brought the opportunity for CTK Burlington to build new relationships with each other.  "Nothing like a project to bring folks together."
Pastors get refresher on the "R" word
On January 27-29 about a dozen CTK pastors from Northwest Washington gathered at Warm Beach Conference Center for a retreat together.  During these days together, the pastors received a reminder from Lead Pastor Dave Browning that our church is built upon the foundation of relationships (the "R" word).  Without meaningful relationships between the pastors, between people in our worship centers, between leaders at different worship centers, and between people and God, our church begins looking like an organization and not an organism.

Each pastor in attendance enjoyed times of solitude with God, as well as times of meaningful connection and prayer with each other.  Many "R words" were strengthened, and plans began for another time together in the fall.
