Christ the King Community Church
CTK News  March 2009
Dear friends,

As CTK continues to reach out to unchurched people across the Northwest, in Colorado, and in many nations around the world, may we all remember that is our church is to "arrows out" each of us individually must commit to living "arrows out" as well.

We have a great mission to fulfill, and the promise that God is with us as we carry it out!

Sincerely,

Director, Network Resources

Jack strummin manOn February 28, over 200 CTK leaders gathered from across our network for the 2009 Arrows Out Ministry Conference in Bellingham, Washington.  Those in attendance were challenged to carry the message of Christ here (where God has us now), there (to cultures next to us), and everywhere (wherever God opens the door).  Workshop topics helped provide fresh ideas for doing ministry that is focused on reaching out to those who are not part of the Body of Christ yet.

Audio and pdf notes from all the main sessions and many of the workshops are now available for download at www.arrowsout.com.  A podcast is also available for you to listen to the sessions on the go with your mp3 player or iPod.

Mark your calendars now for Arrows Out 2010 - February 27 at CTK Bellingham!
Arlington Brings Water to Panama

Arlingto-Panama
Over spring break, Arlington CTK will be sending 5 students and 10 adults to Panama for our annual mission trip.  Organized by Aleph Fackenthall, the team will have much work to do from the moment they arrive in Bocas Del Toro.

The church has raised enough money to install 6 water systems and donated the resources needed to send clothing, medical and dental supplies, sports equipment and other needed items.  Some of our team will haul the water systems through the jungle to the natives in remote locations.  The new systems will provide clean healthy water to replace the swampy, shallow, polluted wells they presently use.  Other team members will assist Dr. Guderian in dental and medical care.  The native children also wait anxiously for all the fun and games we have prepared for them.

Please pray for our team:  Aleph Fackenthall, Ron Guderian, Rick and Abigail Schranck, Ron, Catherine and Nathan Powers, Anna and Christi Dunn, Rob and Amber Nelson, Jen Beales and Dave and Keelin McKellar and Cheryl Seat.
Find Us tool needs YOU!

Our website now features a searchable map for people to find the nearest worship center, small group, pastorpreneur, or simply friends of CTK.  This tool is set up for each group to add and manage their own information, including adding a picture, a link to a webpage, and contact info. If you're a leader at any level in CTK, why don't you take a moment to make sure your group is listed?  It only takes a couple minutes! (If you don't see your worship center listed check with your pastor about that!)

We'd like this tool to help people across the world get connected with others who are doing CTK ministry or want to see it started in their area.
