Find Us tool on website needs YOU!
I am pleased to announce the launch of a new "Find Us" tool on ctkonline.com.  With this tool, every small group, worship center, and even people wanting a CTK near them can place themselves on a searchable map.  Visitors to the site will be able to put in their location and search for the nearest CTK worship center, small group, or others wanting to get involved.
What we need now is for every group to add themselves to the map! The tool is currently a blank slate.  So if you're a CTK staff member, add your worship center info.  If you're a small group leader, add your group information.  If you're a leader wanting to start a CTK in your area, add your information so others can network with you.  If you're a person who wants to see a CTK started in your area, add your information so others can network with you. Add yourself now.
Our hope is this tool will allow people around the world to network with other people in line with CTK's mission, vision, and priorities.

In response to violence in India, CTK Pastor meets with Indian Prime Minister

Continental Pastor for CTK India Yedidya Parker recently attended meetings with the Prime Minister of India as part of a delegation of Christian leaders.  The purpose of the meetings was to seek protection from the violence that has arisen over the past few months toward Christians in the state of Orissa.  Pastor Yedidya asks that all Christians remember this urgent prayer need.
Resources for adults to lead teen small groups

If you have a desire to do lead a small group of teenagers, but have no idea where to start, then this is for you. CTK Anacortes produces a resource for youth small groups that is now available to download online at www.infusionvideos.net. There are currently 18 weeks available and more will become available as they are produced.
The videos and questions can be downloaded and used to start discussion in a variety of settings. CTK Anacortes has youth small groups meet in host homes where the teens have dinner with the host family and adult small group leaders and then the small group leaders and teens go through the video and questions. It could probably work equally well in a youth room with a projector, or at a coffee shop around an laptop. The setting isn't the issue, it's all about creating a safe place for real relationships, meaningful dialogue, and a chance to help students experience God moving in, through and around them. If you are interested in starting a small group for teens in your area please talk to the youth director, small group director, or pastor in your location about backgrounds checks and other measures that may be in place to protect minors.
Youth Pastor, CTK Anacortes
