Suzanne Arruda visits on Tuesday
|
Suzanne Arruda returns to The Mystery Company on Tuesday, January 6 at 7 pm, the publication day of The Leopard's Prey (Obsidian, $24.95). This is the fourth novel set in 1920s Africa by this Hoosier native; Suzanne grew up in Greensburg, IN. This book finds Jade del Cameron back in Nairobi, working for a zoological company and trying to save a pair of leopards slated for execution.
Suzanne will talk about her books, and offer a short quiz-show based on her series -- a series that we recommend, as does Kirkus, which writes: "A lively mystery adventure with a strong sense of both its historical period and its exotic locale."
You'll enjoy this opportunity to meet Suzanne, and there's a special treat in store for folks who purchase signed copies. Not only does Suzanne sign books, she also numbers them and stamps them using a custom-made leopard stamp. This is unique, cool extra that Suzanne offers at her events.
Can't make it in to the store for this event? Give us a call at 800-643-6737 to reserve your signed, stamped and numbered copy or use this link to order Leopard's Prey online, or this link to purchase all of Suzanne's books. The previous three titles, Mark of the Lion (#1), Stalking Ivory (#2) and The Serpent's Daughter (#3), are available in paperback; we have just a handful of signed, stamped and numbered first editions of Serpent's Daughter still available.
As always, we offer free standard shipping to any address in the US.
Next up: Leighton Gage here on Monday, January 12 at 7 pm. Click here to visit his website.
Hope you'll join us!
