Heartful Art News and New Art for Spring
|
Dear Ones,
Thank you so much for your amazing response to last month's e-mail, making April an especially great month, and giving me th e impression that things are indeed looking up for us all. Your continued support makes new growth possible. As May comes to a close, I'm excited to share some new paintings and products with you.
My newest watercolor original, Lily Pool (7"x10" watercolor on paper), speaks to the continual rebirth and growth in the fluidity of life. I love the rosey pink and yellow colors. The oval shape of the lily pool (tidepool) reminds me of happy years living near San Francisco Bay.
I have three new magnets this week as well. First is a new magnet with the single word, Namaste.
 Next are two classics, "Wherever you 
go, go with all your heart" - Confucius, and "Today is the first day of the rest of your life" - Epictetus. All three quotes are available as posters and matted quotes as well as the magnets.
I also have a few new postcards: two cat drawings, a frog and a turtle to add to our postcard collection of whimsical art depicting fish, beetles, butterflies, people and flowers.
Remember to browse the categories in my online store for Father's Day, Weddings and Graduation. I've also added a category for Bestsellers to help you identify items that you might want to consider for a special gift for someone you love (even yourself).
On a personal note, you'll notice I've cut my long hair and have donated my ponytail to "Locks of Love". Since I am a cancer survivor myself (20+ years), it's a privilege to help disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss. Back at home, I'll be learning how to use mousse, little sculpting brushes, and experimenting with new shades of henna to see what fits with the new me. It's fun to have a new look. It goes hand in hand with the new future Heartful Art is growing into as we travel to Las Vegas in a few weeks. There we will be exploring possibilities on many levels, discovering new companies and meeting new people. We will be reconnecting with existing clients and friends as well. Maybe we'll see you there. I hope to have a lot of news to share with you next month. For starters, I have an new agent who will be taking my art in new directions this year.
