| Greetings!
Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms in the world. Where would we be without our mothers? I'm thinking of family today and sending my love to you and yours.
The latest addition to Heartful Art are new poems for sisters and brothers to match the mother, daughter, father, son poems I wrote in 2002. I hope you enjoy them. I've also been busy at work on custom art for churches around the country and some new magnets in Portuguese which will appear on my website later this month. Plus, my "children can ..." empowerment statement has been translated into Spanish, and I finally corrected the "Until one is committed" quote to accurately reflect the authors: W.H. Murray of the Scottish Himalayan Expedition wrote the first part, and apparently quoted Goethe's final paragraph. The whole quote is often attributed to Goethe without mention of Murray. So, there you have it.

 A year ago on Mother's Day, I was blessed to have my parents visit me in California. What a year it has been since then!
Thank you so very much for your e-mails, cards, letters, kind words of support, and orders after last month's sharing of my journey this past year. It is good to share with one another.
I continue to learn and grow through life and time, and I am keeping my thoughts on gratitude and all things good.
I wish you all a Mother's Day filled with warm hugs and memories, great food and the fragrance of flowers, and the appreciation of our Mothers wherever they may be. |
