| Greetings!
Emerson's quote, "Earth laughs in flowers" captures my love of the earth and the joy flowers give me. Flowers are gifts of beauty and reminders of the impermanence of life. Flowers adorn the ever-changing face of nature and remind us to not take what we see, feel, know and cherish for granted. In their brief presence here with us, they mark the passing of time and give us witness to the cycles of birth and death.
I paint flowers and gardens not only for what they give me but for what I can give to them and to you by expressing my love for them in my art. Each leaf, as each snowflake, is uniquely magnificent. Each blossom is a masterpiece. I drink in their beauty with my eyes and revel in their essences in body, mind and spirit.
