Ccaps Launches Interactive Blog
Bilingual blog, "The Localization Highway" features topics ranging from new tools and technology to industry-related trivia
Rio de Janeiro - November 14, 2007 - Ccaps, a leading Brazilian translation company, has launched a new corporate blog called "The Localization Highway." The new corporate blog is a joint initiative of all employees, who are also responsible for the content, maintenance and improvement of the new corporate communication tool that now joins the company's website and the popular Ccaps Newsletter. According to the company's Managing Director, Fabiano Cid, the name chosen for the blog reflects the company's goal with the new tool.
"The blog is intended to be an interactive and interesting way for us to express the words of our staff and colleagues and share with others what we have learned over the years," said Cid. "We also want to put a face with our name and let our clients, vendors, partners and prospects know who we are and what we think about the industry."
The blog interface is bilingual (Brazilian Portuguese and English), and select articles will be featured in both languages. The contributors range from Ccaps staff to special invited guests, and the company encourages contributions from all walks of the translation and localization market.
Topics to be featured include event reviews, information on new tools, processes and technology in general, localization trivia, website, blog and book recommendations, language curiosities, tips on guaranteeing effective localization, internationalization and globalization, among others.
