Here at L'Auberge Inn we practice a lifestyle that has been passed down from generation to generation, as a livable art form of refinement and gracious living.  We celebrate the art of the vine, the art of wine and the art of the table through our gourmet cuisine. To this goal, this exclusive  domain offers an attractive forum available to renowned  selected chefs working with us to apply their culinary art.

When you drive in, beyond the gravel road called "Remy Way"  this auberge estate, invites the world to a setting reminiscent of the private auberge's of Europe.  As  in those quiet and secluded
auberge's of Europe, we are also well off the beaten path, covering five acres in the forest of evergreens, especially enticing for lovers who seek a romantic setting away from prying eyes for the day, week or longer.  Lovers can roam the grounds, set on the surround veranda, enjoy home made tarts, cakes and other eateries upon request.

This fall look forward to a series of Sunday morning cooking classes created for the bachelor who wants to impress his date.  This series will startin September, be five weeks long and from 10:00-1:00 just three hours long.  We'll be starting out with old favorites such as Eggs Benedict with potato mushroom pancakes, and Puff pastry with scrambled eggs.

See  you then   A Bientot!  Nancy

Moroccan Hands-On Cooking Class
with native Chef Majid

I am personally excited about this August 29th class.  Guest Chef Majid Sbai, co-owner of the Kasbah Moroccan Restaurant in Ballard will be teaching this class.
I not only lived in France but I also lived in Casablance, Morocco for eight years....the same royal city that Chef Sbai hails from.  My mouth is already watering in anticipation of the delicious food.  Join me and we'll raise up our glasses together to toast the Chef and your cooking skill.  May it ever be the best!

The cuisine of Morocco is rated among the best in the world, and rightly so. There are few places where food is more carefully and artistically prepared, more delightfully served, and more  enjoyed than in this country. Moroccan cooking is characterized by rich spices on the cook's shelf, and in her mortar. The scents of coriander, cinnamon, cumin, saffron, marjoram, and onion mingle with the pungency of olive oil and the sweetness of mint, roses and orange blossom, delighting the senses.
