DUNGENESS CRAB PARTY
A festival of the prized Northwest crab!  Join Chef Hope Sandler in the kitchen and learn how to properly crack, cook, and clean fresh Dungeness crabs.  Chef Hope will discuss how to identify and select the freshest crabs, and what cooking techniques deliver the utmost flavor.  Chef Hope's menu includes everything from Crabcakes to Crab Bisque, and so much more..

This fall we are excited to offer you a culinary tour to the French Loire Valley countryside (surrounded by vineyards) where we will be taking hands-on cooking classes from Chef Frederic Tempereau of the Atelier Culinaire (Culinary Workshop) Cooking School in the village of Savennieres, very close to Angers (the capital of the Anjou wine district).


Over the years we have taken our guests away from the stress of everyday life and created relaxing and fun cooking adventures at ourL'Auberge Edge of Seattle Inn and Cooking.  Our aim is to do the same here, only we will be doing it in France.  You will learn to refine your cooking skills, as well as eat delicious meals in an atmosphere that is relaxing and fun.  Above all you will be soaking in the French Loire countryside.

  • Interact with an English speaking French Chef
  • Take three 5 hr. hands-on cooking classes
  • Go to colorful markets along with the Chef to pick and choose the food for the cooking class
  • prepare and eat (along with wine pairing) three course meals

  • sleep 8 nights in the beautiful Chateau Epinay
  • besides breakfast, one meal a day is provided
