Chef Andre is teaching only one class per month and
that is with L'Auberge Edge of Seattle Cooking.
This chef has the classical training
that one can only get in Europe. Don't miss this
opportunity to be taught by this very talented Master
Chef.
Andre who is a Master Chef, and a
showman extra-ordinaire, he is well know for being
the only Frenchman to have the
distinction of turning down the position as Executive
Chef at The White House. Andre loves wine, woman
and food, not necessarily in this order. The man is
sensitive and fundamental, he has a pleasant
personality, a genuine liking for people, a willingness
to work hard and sense of humor which is a winning
combination for this chef's success. Chef Mercier for
years worked with many of the great wineries of
Napa Valley before moving to Washington State.
You will be served in a luxurious setting replete with
fine china, crystal stemware, on embroidered
linen
tablecloth and with a sterling silver place setting.
Arrive for the afternoon evening class at 3:00 p.m.
for a truly memorable experience!
L'Auberge at The Edge of Seattle Bed and
Breakfast Inn, is located East of Seattle sitting on
five
secluded wooded acres. The setting is reminiscent of
the French Loire countryside in a contemporary
estate house hosted by Nancy Douglas, the
proprietress of the "Edge of Seattle Getaway".
Nancy says, "Allow me to take you away from the
stress of everyday life, where I will create a relaxing
and fun adventure in the kitchen that will
demonstrate traditional French cooking, basic
techniques and style at it's best!"
